“If there were a Nobel Prize for choirs, the Monteverdi Choir should be its laureate” - Le Monde

The three Monteverdi ensembles – the Monteverdi Choir, English Baroque Soloists and Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique – are a leading force on the international music scene. World-class musicians and singers from many nationalities come together to share in the distinctive vision of our founder and music director, Sir John Eliot Gardiner, in ground-breaking projects that span eight centuries of musical masterpieces.

The Monteverdi ensembles regularly perform at the most prestigious international concert venues and festivals. The main focus of our 2017 season is a highly anticipated European and US tour of staged concert productions of the three surviving operas by Claudio Monteverdi. The operas have recently premiered and have generated a hugely positive response from audiences and critics alike, receiving multiple five-star reviews from The Guardian, The Times and The Art’s Desk.

This is an exciting time to join the Monteverdi team as it embarks on delivering its most ambitious programme of work to date. We are now looking for a highly motivated and dynamic colleague to join us as Concerts & Projects Administrator. Based in smart offices in Canary Wharf, we work in the UK and internationally: our USP is our unrivalled reputation here and across the world, which we have built over fifty years without the help of public funding.

The Concerts & Projects Administrator will be a crucial member of our team and will be responsible for the administration of the UK and international touring of our three world-class ensembles; S/he will also coordinate the logistics of our other artistic activity including our Apprentices Programme.

We are seeking a highly organised individual with two years’ experience of working in an arts organisation, educated to degree level, to join our busy team. Candidates must have the skills to multi-task the wide range of activity that they will need to undertake on a daily basis. The successful candidate will come with a proven high level of initiative and eye for detail; additionally, they will be an excellent communicator, and have a bright, pleasant disposition.
