Following the Monteverdi Choir & Orchestras' triumphant international Monteverdi 450 tour we are delighted to announce a final concert which will take place in the Raphael Cartoons Gallery at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Friday 15 December.

Sir John Eliot Gardiner, English Baroque Soloists, Monteverdi Choir and a cast of international soloists will perform highlights from this hugely successful tour alongside the V&A’s Opera: Passion, Power and Politics exhibition.

This concluding concert will be the only chance to catch a glimpse, in London, of the 'Monteverdi magic' that  has wowed audiences across Europe and the US since April. It will also celebrate 50 years since  John Eliot Gardiner first conducted at the V&A with his newly formed Monteverdi Choir to mark the Venetian master's 400th anniversary in 1967.

This final performance will take place as part of the 'V&A's Lates' programme on 15 December. More details on how to book your tickets will become available over the next few weeks.
